With so many voters using video to decide, make sure the information you include is accurate. Not only do you have an ethical responsibility to share factual material, but you also don’t want to add something that might embarrass for your campaign later on down the line.

First things first, the voting age in the U.S. is eighteen, so keep this in mind when selecting a platform to promote your video. For instance, Snapchat’s audience trends younger, so this may not be a worthy use of your precious ad budget.
Consider which sites you can promote your video on that have politically engaged voters. Use pre-roll video ads to capture the attention of site visitors. For example, the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGATE users are 45% more likely to contribute to political campaigns (Scarborough, 2020), making it a great fit for pre-roll video ads.
Your marketing content should always be tailored to your buyer persona, or in this case, the voter persona.
